Huge Victory For Medical Marijuana Cases

The 9th circuit court has dealt a major blow to federal cases involving medical marijuana in states where it’s been approved. Simply stated, if you obey a state’s medical marijuana laws, the recent ruling prevents federal law enforcement from funding prosecution.

Medical marijuana is currently allowed in twenty five U.S. states.

“Congress could restore funding tomorrow, a year from now, or four years from now,” he wrote, “and the government could then prosecute individuals who committed offenses while the government lacked funding.”
